OK caregivers current and past:
This is a topic for you guys to address to help those who are brand new to LC....
The angry patient/loved one..... I've had cancer, and I've supported people with cancer for 10 years now...anger is part of this path we are all on... we all have felt it, we all experience it and we all have a right to be angry that cancer has turned our lives upside down....
HOWEVER, when anger, depression and lashing out by the patient happens...what are caregivers to do?
The question is: How do you cope when the person you love and support is directing their anger at you and making you the target of their frustrations?
Please share your answers, advice, experience with the forum members.
