Applications for travel grants to attend HOPE Summit, May 3-5, 2024, in Atlanta, GA, are now closed.

To be eligible you must: (a) be a patient/survivor, (b) be a first-time attendee, and (c) have a financial need. Please read the HOPE Summit FAQs before applying for a travel grant.

Apply early!

Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis while funds last.

Tip: Since the number of full travel grants is very limited, the best way to ensure you can attend the conference is to participate in the Survivor Challenge.

How it works

Full travel grants will cover round-trip US transportation and two nights of hotel accommodation to attend the HOPE Summit. Non-US residents may apply for a partial grant to cover the hotel cost; on the form below, please select “Lodging only” for the type of grant.

You must make your own room reservation for the two-night stay of HOPE Summit directly with the hotel (booking information is in the FAQs). You will need to leave a credit card to hold the reservation, but your card will not be charged if you are awarded a grant. If your grant includes air travel, our travel coordinator will be in touch to book flight reservations.

If you are awarded a travel grant, you must agree to submit a written summary of what you learned at the conference no later than May 17, 2024 (two weeks after the event).
