LUNGevity offers so much support and information and education that it aligns with my goals. I want to give back to LUNGevity because I feel like they’ve given a lot to all of us. It makes me want to do as much as I can to improve quality of life and survivorship for myself and others.

Are you a lung cancer survivor?
According to the National Cancer Institute, “survivorship” begins at the time of diagnosis and continues during and after treatment for as long as you live. Today, more people than ever are surviving lung cancer longer and leading busy lives during and after cancer treatment. Cancer survivorship involves dealing with the physical, emotional, and day-to-day issues of the cancer journey.
LUNGevity’s Survivor Resource Center helps to bridge the practical and emotional gaps in lung cancer survivorship while offering a vast network of support for survivors and their loved ones.
From the moment of diagnosis until beyond treatment, many survivors of lung cancer have described their cancer experience as overwhelming and lonely. Shining the light on this disease, treatment options, side effects, and resources can help make the experience less frightening. Connecting with other lung cancer fighters and survivors can make the experience less lonely. LUNGevity has created a one-of-a-kind resource for people facing lung cancer to provide them with physical, emotional, and practical support.
