Amgen Director, Health Equity and Advocacy Relations Jeanette leads Amgen’s health equity platform across the organization, including partnering with functional teams to align Amgen’s health equity objectives, metrics, and partnerships and connecting this work to their ESG commitments. In addition, Jeanette spearheads the enterprise-level engagement strategy with the advocacy community at the above brand level, including building and sustaining relationships with the patient advocacy community with a primary focus on issues affecting equitable health. Prior to joining the Advocacy Relations team, Jeanette was the chief of staff for Judy Brown, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Amgen and spent the bulk of her career as part of Philanthropy organization where she built and managed global programming in both quality of care and science education for the Amgen Foundation. Prior to joining Amgen, Jeanette was a Program Manager at the American Lung Association of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. She holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in Communication and Sociology and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles.
