LUNGevity’s mission to transform how people are diagnosed and treated for lung cancer extends far beyond the U.S. border.

We are partnering with clinicians, key opinion leaders, patients, and advocacy groups across the world to:

  • Identify and address barriers to care
  • Share innovative resources developed in the U.S.
  • Foster global community focused on awareness, early detection, and access to lifesaving treatments

 International Lung Cancer Survivorship Conference

Each year we host the world's largest virtual gathering of patients and survivors so they can learn about the latest scientific advances from experts in the field. This global conference includes sessions in Mandarin and Spanish and has region-specific expert panels for Asia/Australia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Learn more

Advocacy and Support in Latin America and Asia

In 2023, we commissioned a global audit to map unmet needs in lung cancer care and identify impactful organizations for strategic partnerships.

We discovered parts of Latin America and Asia face several challenges:

  • Limited advocacy capacity
  • Insufficient patient and healthcare provider education
  • Lack of high-quality data and cancer registries
  • Regulatory barriers to quality care

To better assess the primary gaps and needs in these regions, LUNGevity is designing and implementing a survey for both Latin America and Asia to better direct strategic advocacy and support outreach.
